Your Chance As A Patient To Influence Future Research

The Arthritis Research Campaign (arc) has recently changed their strategy for funding clinical trials. Clinical Studies Groups (CSGs) have been set up in 6 clinical areas and one of these is Spondyloarthritis (SpA). The SpA group OF diseases includes ankylosing spondylitis, of course.

The aim of the CSGs is to produce an effective strategy for clinical studies in this area in the future. Patient involvement is seen by arc as an important part of this process. Two patients with AS and the Director of NASS have been invited to attend CSG meetings.

NASS would also like input from the widest possible number of patients: if you have ideas on what you see, as a patient, are the research priorities for the future please follow this link to complete a very short questionnaire.

If you would like more information on the CSGs, see www.arc-research.org.uk
